If there is a gem of interest, email me at tking@antmail.com.au to check that the gem is available. Please provide the gem type, its catalogue number and carat weight. I will contact you regarding availability.

If you wish to purchase the stone or stones, payment will be by Paypal only for international buyers and Paypal or direct bank deposit for Australian buyers.

International Customers

Gems below $200 will be sent by airmail trackable at a cost of $20.

Gems over $200 and combined purchases over $200 will be sent free of charge by airmail trackable or registered airmail post. Airmail trackable is only available to certain countries.

Insurance is available if required to a maximum of AU$2000 when sent by registered post. Australia Post charges US$6 per $100 of insurance.

Please note that Ark Rare Gems is not responsible for parcels that have left Australia and are stolen in the country of destination. Registered post is very reliable and I have never had a parcel go missing. Express Parcel Post is less reliable as I have had one parcel go missing in New York. I no longer use this service.

Customs and Import Fees and Charges

Please note that different countries have different customs regulations, fees and charges on Imported goods.

Gem buyers must familiarise themselves with their country's charges so that they know what it will cost to import gemstones bought from Ark Rare Gems. For safety sake parcel contents are marked as 'mineral specimen' rather than gemstones to avoid theft.

It is the purchasers responsibility for their country's customs and importation charges which is beyond our control. Contact us if you wish to give us directions in the shipping of your parcel and we will try to assist.
